2025 marks the 25th year Anniversary of the West Virginia Youth Symphony’s European tours! Current WVYS Youth Strings and Youth Orchestra musicians, WVYS alumni, and guest artists formed the orchestra for the WVYS’s 5th performance tour of Central Europe in June 2025.
WVYS alumnus and 2025 European Tour violinist, Michael David Haynes, captured memorable footage and feedback from tour participants in this delightful documentary: WVYS Europe Trip DocuVlog.
Tour participant and long-time WVYS Board Member, Tom Beal, created a lovely compilation of 2025 tour photos accompanied by a tour performance recording of “Banská Bystrica,” by Honza Nedvěd, arr. Jayce Townsend: WVYS in Banská Bystrica.
